We scoured the ‘gram for the best patio spots in the New York City area that welcome people and pups alike! Here are 6 dog-friendly patios that are the perfect place to soak up the sun with your best friend (and remember, sharing is caring!)
1. Zum Schneider, Alphabet City
Enjoy the two-legged and four-legged passersby on Avenue C from Zum Schneider’s patio. This German restaurant and beer garden has been dog-friendly for years. Don’t forget to order the giant pretzel!

2. d.b.a., East Village Dog-friendly inside and outside, and happy hour until 9: need we say more? Check out d.b.a. in the East Village, it’s the perfect spot to host a gotcha-day party or celebrate your best furiend’s birthday.

3. ATLA, NoHo
We always want tacos and we always want to bring our dogs along. At ATLA in NoHo, you can have the best of both worlds. The patio is the perfect spot for pup-watching.

4. East River Bar, Williamsburg We’re really excited about this one! On her @wethedogsnyc takeover, Amira (@mirathesatodog) visited this dog-friendly bar under the Williamsburg Bridge and shared photos of the incredible backyard. On Mondays, happy hour is all day!

5. LIC Bar, Long Island City
Tucked away on a little corner, LIC Bar has a huge back patio where pups have plenty of room to cozy up to their humans and enjoy the summer sun. If your dog is into live music, they have a summer concert series every Sunday!

6. Harlem Public, Harlem
Burgers and dogs, oh my. These burgers look amazing and we’re surprised there aren’t MORE dogs drooling over them. Check out their dog-friendly sidewalk patio, but do it quickly because the outdoor tables get taken first. Early dog gets the cheeseburger, after all.
